Natures Way To Heal Your Body

Question: Discuss about the Natures Way To Heal Your Body. Answer: Introduction It is not only an inspiring life but also a revelation of tribulations of the world as well as the endurances that Susan Manion MacDonald had to go through to get to her new level. In her early life, she went through a series of frustrations ranging from broken and abusive marriages to a very saddening health problem of terminal cancer (MacDonald Mitchell, 2008). In her book, BALANCE, natures way to heal your body, Susan narrates her personal experience where she gets diagnosed with terminal cancer, and doctors break the saddest news a patient can ever get, that her cancer cannot be cured. Like any other individual, Susan was heartbroken and confused, unable to understand why it would be her (MacDonald Mitchell, 2008). The diagnosis was made in 2002, and by then, conventional medicine offered no solution. Upon introspection and soul-searching, Susan realizes she can reverse this disease by purely utilizing natural medicine and means of detoxification. Intriguingly, her way not only surprised many people but also inspired them. She embarks on a mission to save herself, and this is realized within only one year (MacDonald Mitchell, 2008). Susan reminds us that our health solutions are always with us, in our kitchens, farms, fields, homes and other natural dwelling environments. Susan says the first step to healing is acceptance; you have to a ccept that the disease is part of you and nothing else but you, can eliminate it (MacDonald Mitchell, 2008). Afterward, she embarks on natural means like doing exercises, juicing the body with fruits and vegetables that are raw, having enough sleep, drinking purified water, and having organic apple cider vinegar. She forgets not about prayers and personal happiness (Indigo Books amp; Music, 2016). Moreover, she mentions other means like scheduled basking for vitamin D from sunlight among others (Indigo Books amp; Music, 2016). These changes of lifestyle to adopting a more natural way of living can tremendously improve our health lives. On a personal basis, I have learned that there is a connection between the mind, the body, and the spirit regarding someones life and our nutrition has to incorporate all of them. The turn of events that are witnessed in Susans case is a living evidence for the way we are supposed to view illnesses. It mesmerizes me to learn that one can decide to get well and if they seriously search for credible accounts of information, then sieve to see the best for them and uncannily implement their plan, then everything will just be fine. It is sad to note that we have all the resources around us to help heal our body, but because of lack of knowledge and the zeal to unearth the natural world, we have continually lost lives to diseases that could be cured (Blackwell, 2013). I have encountered many stories of people who passed on after losing hope on conventional medicine ("Routes to a self-healing body?", 2012). Science has fixed our minds into believing that if we are not able to solve a proble m in the labs, then it is overwhelming and lacks a way forward. Susans book has revamped an urge in me, that which wants to explore nature and healing. I have realized that patients can get well if they live naturally ("Routes to a self-healing body?", 2012). Susan emphasizes on holistic nutrition, in that one has to get spiritual satisfaction, mental and physiological nutrition. The physiological nutrition comes from natural foods and adjustment of lifestyle. In conclusion, Susan passed on in 2012 after having led a pure and natural life, but her lessons, the directions, and convictions will live with us to help nurture the field of holistic nutrition.
